For quick get ranked high in google news,

First step, Go to Google news, news.google.com and see what some of the top ranking news stories are in Google news at the time. If you think your website is at all related to one of these topics, then great.

Second step, Write a short article, maybe 500 to 600 words or so in length and include the keywords you wish to rank for at Google news a few times in the body of your article which will be written like a press release.

Third step, Now in your news article be sure to use a quote from you on the story. What will happen next is that within 10 to 15 minutes your press release with your active links to your website will be in Google’s News section as well as dozens of other news feed sites. This is just the first wave of back links you will receive. The second wave will come from people who pick up the news feeds on their sites. It’s a great way to get traffic & links and I highly recommend you give it a try.

The best part about this, is that you don’t have to be an incredible writer to get your work published, as they will pretty much allow you to submit anything as long as it is in a press release format and not obscene.
